The Walsall Area Business Association is an association of professional businesses based in Walsall. We encourage our members to support other local businesses based in Walsall. Each business has its own field of speciality and our aim to that together we grow and support each other to enable the borough of Walsall to be a successful place to do business.

History of Walsall

The Industrial Revolution changed Walsall from a town of 2,000 individuals in the sixteenth century to a town of more than 86,000 in roughly 200 years. The town fabricated a wide scope of items including saddles, chains, clasps and plated product. Close by, limestone quarrying furnished the town with much flourishing. 

Things to do in Walsall

The New Art Gallery Walsall is an advanced and contemporary workmanship exhibition sited in the focal point of the West Midlands town of Walsall, England. It was worked with £21 million of public financing, including £15.75 million from the UK National Lottery and extra cash from the European Regional Development Fund and City Challenge. The Gallery is financed by Walsall Council and Arts Council England; this subsidising is additionally enhanced by its own pay age. Affirmation is free. Its first Director was Peter Jenkinson. In May 2005, previous BALTIC chief Stephen Snoddy was designated as Director.
